Everything on ITK is classified automatically. The software decides which story a post belongs to, whether a post is news, who was first, and whether an outlet later reported the same story. It gets things wrong.
If something here is wrong about you or about anyone else, this form is the way to say so. You do not need to be the journalist concerned to use it.
What happens next. A credible report gets the item marked under review and removed from the visible scores while it's checked — normally within one working day, and always within five. If the classification was wrong it's corrected and the scores recalculated. If it stands, you get an explanation of the evidence behind it. Either way you get a reply.
